Lovely property with fantastic facilities with everything you need within the property. Great location for Ambleside Town Centre as well, not far for a walk up Wansfell Pike which can accessed via a path up the road from the front of the properly. Only little negative the tap on the left hand side basin on the first floor bedroom was loose and needs sorting.

Property is nice and adequate for our needs When we opened the fridge, the smell was overwhelming. Either unclean or someone had left strong cheese in there. The door shelf was also missing. We tried to cook a pizza and there was so much smoke that it clearly needed a clean We had issues with the WiFi and I messages for advice and no one replied Its cheaper than others due to location, and has parking. So. I would recommend, but needs a bit of finesse re the above

Great bolthole for a trip around the Lakes. Neat, tidy and wellequipped. This is our second time staying at Wansfell Nook and it has been great.

Good location, short walk into the town of Ambleside, with great views. House has been renovated to a high standard with two good size bedrooms and king beds and each with their own bathroom. Perfect for a couple of couples or family to stay in.

Lovely cottage, clean and convenient to town, with all amenities needed. We arrived in the dark and parking space at back off cottage, a name plate and light at the back would have made it much easier to find.

All was great. , apart from heating. Much too hot upstairs and not warm enough downstairs. Thermostat probably needs repositioning. Stairs not for the elderly.
