Good location, short walk into the town of Ambleside, with great views. House has been renovated to a high standard with two good size bedrooms and king beds and each with their own bathroom. Perfect for a couple of couples or family to stay in.

Lovely cottage, clean and convenient to town, with all amenities needed. We arrived in the dark and parking space at back off cottage, a name plate and light at the back would have made it much easier to find.

All was great. , apart from heating. Much too hot upstairs and not warm enough downstairs. Thermostat probably needs repositioning. Stairs not for the elderly.
