Sitting just 300 metres from the spectacular 70-foot Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, you can actually hear the falls from the garden. The fell views from the windows and patio are genuinely impressive. This is a well-designed, spacious property crisp white walls, natural wood furnishings and an open-plan lounge-diner flooded with natural light.

Ambleside is on your doorstep. Walk into town easily, pick up supplies from a nearby shop or grab a pint at the local pub. Waterhead Pier is just one mile away hop on a boat cruise to Bowness-on-Windermere or Lakeside. Grasmere is four miles away. The cottage is a brilliant base for circular walks straight from the door.

Ghyll End sleeps five across three bedrooms: a stylish king-size room with dual-aspect windows, a twin room and a single room with a cabin-style bunk bed (not suitable for under-fives). One family bathroom with shower over the bath serves the property. The kitchen has an induction hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Private parking for two cars is included.
