About Iveing House

Iveing House is a spacious character property sleeping 16 guests in the heart of Ambleside. Built in the 1770s, this former artist's studio and youth hostel sits on a quiet elevated road. You'll hear the waterfall as you approach. The house keeps its original fireplaces and wooden shutters.

Ambleside puts you half a mile from Windermere's head. Shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs sit less than a quarter mile away. A park with play areas, mini golf and tennis courts is nearby. Doorstep walks suit every ability from the Fairfield Horseshoe to child-friendly loops.

Seven bedrooms spread across two floors. The first floor has a king-size with wash basin, a twin with wash basin, a single and a family room with four-poster double and single bed. The second floor offers a king-size with wash basin, a single and a dorm with five single beds. Five bathrooms include private shower cubicles and four separate WCs.

The house works brilliantly for walkers and cyclists with secure bike storage for three bikes and a large boot room.
