Walks start from the door including routes to Loughrigg Tarn and bridleways up Ellers Brow. The location provides excellent access to Langdale valley walks and Skelwith Bridge.

The family room contains a super king zip-link bed plus a single with pull-out trundles and en-suite shower. The twin bedroom offers two single beds. All rooms feature comfortable beds and the well-equipped kitchen includes two ovens and a dishwasher.
Skelwith Force waterfall (1.2 miles, 4 minutes) and Ambleside town centre (4.4 miles, 10 minutes) sit nearby. Loughrigg Tarn (1.5 miles, 6 minutes) offers peaceful walks whilst Windermere lake (4.7 miles, 12 minutes) provides boat trips and watersports.
