A fabulous cottage in an amazing location, the views are stunning. Beckside is lovely, secluded and very well equipped. Its also so close to the centre of Ambleside. Definitely will be back.

We had a lovely stay and appreciate all the amenities and welcome pack which made our stay even better. Lovely property, beautifully maintained and lovely and clean. Thanks also for introducing us to Cumbrian Tea with such a generous pack! If I had to offer one improvement, it would be for the bedroom drawers to be hoovered out. But thats it, because it was a lovely place to stay and everything else was spot on. Many thanks

Really nice property with good amenities such as washing machine and dryer. Close to town but away from all the noise.

Beckside is a lovely bungalow, spotlessly maintained and very well equipped. After long days out and about in the Lakes it was a pleasure to get back and enjoy the home comforts. Anyone with mobility issues might find the climb up the steep hill to Beckside a challenge. We did request a cot and high chair for the two year old in our party and whilst the cot was provided unfortunately there was no high chair. The only negative point was the glass coffee table in the lounge, which for was a hazard due to having a toddler with us.

We had a wonderful holiday in Beckside! We loved its locatie, it is a peacefull place and the towncentre is very nearby. We would like to come back next year! Lovely property a convenient short walk from Ambleside it is uphill on the way back. Wonderful views. Lots of lovely walks from Ambleside too and convenient for buses. Good parking for 2 cars and on the flat. Garden path gets very slippy when wet, might benefit from a pressure wash. Property was very clean, well maintained and decorated to a good standard. Main bedroom had lots of storage however the second double room had very little. As the twin room is slightly larger it may be better to put the double in there with some storage? Kitchen is quite small and the table takes a lot of space, lovely utility area. Very pleasant terrace to sit on and enjoy the view. Would recommend.
