This is our 3rd visit to Redwood and wont be our last . Its in an excellent quiet location. The place is always spotless and its very well maintained and equipped. Redwood is one of the best equipped properties we've ever stayed in making this a really comfortable place to stay. The location above Ambleside is great, with just a short walk down into town. We always enjoy visiting the Lakes, but this was a particularly enjoyable week!

A wonderfully clean, comfortable and cosy holiday cottage in a perfect location close to the centre of Ambleside but with views of the fells. Highlights included the welcome pack, the library the book on suggestions of wet weather walks saved us and watching the birds in the garden at close quarters.
