This is our 3rd visit to Redwood and wont be our last . Its in an excellent quiet location. The place is always spotless and its very well maintained and equipped. The welcome package is always appreciated. We have met Peter & Avril on several occasions and they are really wonderful people. Weve had a great time and the weather was very kind too. Redwood is one of the best equipped properties we've ever stayed in making this a really comfortable place to stay. The location above Ambleside is great, with just a short walk down into town. We always enjoy visiting the Lakes, but this was a particularly enjoyable week!

A wonderfully clean, comfortable and cosy holiday cottage in a perfect location close to the centre of Ambleside but with views of the fells. Highlights included the welcome pack, the library the book on suggestions of wet weather walks saved us and watching the birds in the garden at close quarters.

Absolutely amazing! EVERYTHING had been thought of from dishwasher tablets, to games and teddies for kids, to bird feed to umbrellas to aid the walk into Ambleside in the rain. The beds were comfy and the welcome treats were very much appreciated. We couldn't have wished for more. Thank you!

Well located, just 10 minutes into the centre of Ambleside but in a peaceful cul de sac with easy parking. Lots of walks from the front door. It was perfect really. Would happily stay here again. Loved this place. We made a lot of requests for various reasons, and Pete and Avril were wonderfully accommodating. The view from the hill is stunning and just gets you excited for exploring each day. Facilities are fabulous lots of room and so well equipped.
