Deer Corner is a carefully renovated two-storey traditional stone-built cottage at the entrance to Pullwood Bay Estate in Pull Woods near Ambleside, Cumbria. It sits within a small cluster of eye-catching cottages and sleeps six across three bedrooms. The estate covers over 51 acres of private landscaped gardens and mature woodland with direct access to Lake Windermere via a private jetty.

This is the southern Lake District at its best. Walk to the lakeshore, paddle board on Windermere or explore the woodland trails on the estate. Hawkshead and Ambleside are both 3. 5 miles away with shops, eateries and galleries.

About Deer Corner

Deer Corner is a carefully renovated two-storey traditional stone-built cottage at the entrance to Pullwood Bay Estate in Pull Woods near Ambleside, Cumbria. It sits within a small cluster of eye-catching cottages and sleeps six across three bedrooms. The estate covers over 51 acres of private landscaped gardens and mature woodland with direct access to Lake Windermere via a private jetty.

This is the southern Lake District at its best. Walk to the lakeshore, paddle board on Windermere or explore the woodland trails on the estate. Hawkshead and Ambleside are both 3.5 miles away with shops, eateries and galleries. A pub is nearby too.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms an upstairs king-size, an upstairs twin with lake views and a downstairs double. There are two bathrooms including one with a slipper bath and double shower. The kitchen-diner has an induction hob, dishwasher and coffee machine. The living room has a wood burner and opens onto a south-facing patio.

Stock Ghyll Force waterfall is within five miles. Wray Castle, Tarn Hows and The World of Beatrix Potter are all under 10 miles away.

Deer Corner works brilliantly for families or groups of friends. Private lake access for canoeing and kayaking sets it apart. Book it.
