Nice comfortable apartment in a great location for exploring the South Lakes. Easy walking distance into town

This is a wonderful property in a great location with easy walks into Ambleside and to the waterfront. The property is spacious and very comfortable, and has obviously been updated recently. There is everything to make this a home from home visit, particularly considering kitchen utensils, games, books, wifi etc. One small niggle is that there were no extra toilet rolls and no additional bin bags, both of which we had to purchase. We mentioned this to the cleaners when leaving and they explained that extra items such as these were not provided. Not a problem but something about which there is no mention in the adverts and was unexpected. Overall, a great holiday in lovely accommodation which I can highly recommend and to which I would definitely return.

Another great stay at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods, everything you need from a holiday cottage. Great quiet location yet only a short stroll either into town or down to the lake. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, Grasmere Rydal Hall for starters. Plenty of good restaurants in Ambleside, best to book as they get busy. Plan to return again next year.

The property was comfortable and well situated for the lake and Ambleside town centre. There is a nice quiet secluded outside area to enjoy an al fresco drink and ample parking. As a minor point, the TV in the bedroom is very small we almost missed it! and could do with updating.

As two retired couples, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods for the week. It is very clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. We spotted a deer at least for times during the week which was a bonus. It has been lovely to be so central in the Lakes being on the edge of Ambleside, yet overlooking so much greenery. We would not hesitate to stay at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods again when planning a holiday in central Lake District.

We have stayed here several times as the property is in a good location with parking. We love seeing the changes the owners have made each time we stay, keeping the property in top condition.

Fourth visit to Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods. Loved going back. Parking for two cars is great. New kitchen lovely but felt the microwave being in the cupboard above the oven for us was hazardous. For us the height made it difficult for us lifting hot things out as we are not very tall. Kitchen is well equipped but a wok would be a useful addition. The lock on the door leading into the dining area was a little temperamental at times. Despite these minor issues we would stay at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods again. Seeing the dear every morning is a bonus in an apartment so close to town.

We really enjoyed our time at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods Cottage. It was clean, tidy and really well looked after. Great location, nice and quiet and a short stroll into Ambleside. We'd love to come back. Highly recommend this place! Please replace the plug on the iron, it is faulty.

Another great stay at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods, like home from home. A really good but quite location about half way between the lake and the town. Plenty of walks from the door and local wildlife, deer can be seen in the surrpunding fields. Many thanks to the owner for providing such a lovely property to stay in.

Really excellent facilities, ideal location with a short walk to shopscatering if you did not want to use a car. My only comments would be that the mattress in the shower bedroom is showing its age and is not especially comfortable. Though there were four televisions they were all freeview system. If just the one in the lounge had been Sky it would have made a far better evening experience. However these are minor points compared to the overall satisfaction with the facilities offered.

We would definitely recommend Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods to friends and family.

A very pleasant apartment, in a good convenient location near Ambleside but surrounded by fields. We enjoyed looking out for deer crossing the field next to the patio! The location at the rear of the building means we were largely shielded from the noise from the A5075 nearby. Unfortunately when we arrived we found a curtain pole in the living room had fallen down, with the curtains left draped over a settee. This was dealt with very quickly when we phoned to report it, with workmen fixing it promptly. But surely this should have been reported by the cleaners and sorted out before we arrived? The oven and the microwave could do with replacing in particular the microwave time setting was hopelessly vague. With just one ovengrill and no separate grill, cooking facilities could be improved. Since our party needed one accessible bedroom with a walk in shower, we were very content with the property overall.

Another lovely stay at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods, stayed last year as well. Great location with ample parking and outdoor seating. Accommodation is really good with everything you need for a home from home stay. Easy to walk into Ambleside or the lake. Great to be able to see all the local wildlife, deer, etc. Microwave could maybe renewed as its seen better days, but did work OK. Will hopefully be back next year.

Firstly, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods. I travelled with my father, so we used both bedrooms. The apartment is located in a building which used to be a hotel. There are 4 other apartments in the property and a further 2 in another property at the rear. The apartment is at the rear of the main building. The whole building is surrounded by fields which have been left undeveloped, there are lots of animals and birds living around the property including deer, bats and owls. It feels very secluded but is only a 10 minute flat walk to the centre of Ambleside or to the lake in the other direction. There is ample parking. Only 2 other properties were occupied when we stayed so it was very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped, this also had a dining area a TV would have been appreciated in this area to keep us company whilst preparing food, we also like the TV on when eating and had to resort to using the Ipad for this not ideal. The lounge is in a separate room, it is large with 2 long sofas and a TV there are games for kids young and old. Both bedrooms are ensuite. There were complimentary toiletries. The bed linen and towels were white, very clean and well laundered. In fact the whole property was spotless in this respect. However there were a few niggles please dont take offence as they didnt put us off, but need to be pointed out which would have made this property outstanding a number of the double glazing units were blown meaning you couldnt see out 2 in the main kitchen window and one in bedroom 2 the smaller of the 2 bedrooms these should have been reported and sorted all the windows indoors and out needed a jolly good clean, they were filthy and there was mould around the edges inside the upvc inside and outside was filthy, it hadnt been washed for a long time and was very old, resulting in very draughty windows and doors. Our 1st sight of the property was a blown double glazing unit and marked and scuffed door where you entered the property not a good look the 2nd bedroom in particular was very cold it was down to 5c outdoors at night, although issues with the radiators were quickly resolved by the owner, we simply could not get the room warm. My father feels the cold and felt it in particular. The heating was still on a summer setting so didnt come on automatically, we had to override it all the time the oven wasnt particularly clean and the fan part of the oven simply didnt warm up, although the oven worked on the setting without the fan thankfully the carpet in the dining area of the kitchen needed a jolly good clean, it was also where you entered the property, so it may have been better for the whole area to be tiled. Please dont take this as criticism, they were just niggles that other guests may not notice. I suspect the owner, whom I spoke to on the phone about an issue and was very helpful, may not be aware of the niggles. It just took away the edge of what could have received a 5 review from us both.

We loved this beautiful home from home and wish we couldve stayed longer. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy and the little touches like the tea and coffee tin and the toiletries in the bathroom were very well received. The home itself is perfectly positioned in its own private area but half way between Ambleside town centre and Windermere lakeside so both are just a 5 minute walk away. We will definitely be returning to this lovely home!

A beautiful place to stay , spacious , lovely personal touches & everything you would need & more . Outside garden area a true delight beautiful views that were a treat to wake up to each day . A perfect distance to the Waterhead & into Ambleside for restaurants & shops . The perfect accommodation to enjoy Ambleside.

Lovely property in a great location, feels like being in the countryside yet only a few minutes walk into Ambleside or the lake shore. Property was clean and comfortable, microwave had not been cleaned, water in it? One of the toilets had a slow flow of water continually, needs to be fixed to save water. Overall we had a great week away and have booked again for next year, so shows we really liked our week at Luxury 3-Bedroom Apartment in Pull Woods.

The property is fabulous and in such a beautiful setting, its quiet and peaceful yet close to waterhead and the town when you want to wander there. The rooms are spacious and very comfy and there is everything there you could imagine in case of need, walking stick, umbrella, sewing kit, bulbs lots of dvds and cds and games etc too. Parking for 2 large cars easily right outside. Garden is delightful and warm when sunny which it was over Easter. The only negative point is that the property is a bit tired and needs just a little tlc and updating, sofas are a bit saggy and soft and low now some decor worn and a few cobwebs in the bathrooms. Nothing that spoilt the week though. Beds amazing though. Also the XBox is a bit pointless as it cant connect to the more modern TV, needs an extra lead so was unuseable. All in all I would go back but would not pay over 900 for it in my opinion based on pre pandemic prices that is about right. I ignor all the inflated ones and wait for prices to drop or find another cottage at a good price.

After stopping in 5 star accommodation before through heart of the lakes, we were disappointed with the overall appearance of the property as it looked tired and worn. Definitely in need of updating and some minor repairs

This is a lovely property where we have stayed previously but it now needs a thorough clean particularly in these COVID days. We were disappointed that the fridge door shelf was held together with cello tape making it difficult to use, no bath mat which meant getting out of the shower onto a slippery floor, no umbrella for the garden table in a lovely sun drenched garden which rendered it unusable in the intense heat of last week. In a property as lovely as this, attention to detail is important and we feel that standards have slipped. I have photographs of the state of cleanliness and the fridge door if you wish to see them. This feedback is given in the hope that action will be taken to remedy our complaints.
