We have stayed at a number of places and we felt very let down here. It has beautiful veiw, but its not welcoming inside. There was no small extras, the shower doors are so small we had trouble getting in and out. Hot water in bathroom sink had black bits in it. Very noisy from peple coming and going and work being carried out upstairs. We left a day earlier as had another.

This is a very clean and comfortable apartment but very basic and lacking in certain items ie bin linerscleaning items for kitchen which in previous visits have been supplied. Fire in lounge did not work nor did fan in bathroom. Lovely views across the lake and great having parking space. Would definitely recommend if you dont mind bringing all your own supplies.

Excellent location with stunning views. The property was clean and comfortable. The fire was not working during our stay, but it wasnt too cold. The parking space could benefit from clearer signage, and the keys would be easier to use with labels, as there are three doors with different keys.

This property was extremely cold. On arrival the storage heater in the living area was not working. This was fixed the next day after a phone call. Even so, the lounge area was not comfortable in the evening to sit in. The bedroom was even colder. The parking space information given to us did not match the markings on the ground. Fortunately this was not a problem as we were the only guests.

We have used this property a lot of times and it never fails to impress, great location for boats buses and with a taxi, trains. We are pleased the large bedroom window has been repaired as it makes loading and unloading the car very easy. We tend to check the forecast and follow the better weather from Penrith to Morecombe and use the steamers to access the whole of Windermere. We also have lots of places that we have been before and reviisit these. The two hotels within a stroll from the property are also very welcoming for an evening drink. The property itself is comfortable, clean and well equipped.

When we arrived it was not clear where we should park. The bay markings need repainting. We felt the front entrance looked very tired. Paint peeling and not very clean. Such a shame that this was the first impression. Once we were inside everything was perfect and what a view. First impressions are so important. It would make such a difference if this was addressed.

The property was in a great location, it was clean, modern with great facilities and amazing views. We were a bit concerned about the shower after reading previous reviews but it was fine for us. Fish and chip shop practically next door which was a bonus.

I was disappointed that 6 steps to enter and 4 locks before getting in! There there should be warning on the hot water it's far too hot and shower is nightmare it's hot or freezing cold. The tv is basic freeview, wifi good

We had a great week in the property and can't wait to come back. We had a problem in the bathroom and this was promptly sorted out. However, the shower was a let down. Being a larger lady it was a squeeze to get through the doors, the shower tray is very slippery when wet and the shower itself a trickle is almost an over statement.! However when the sun was out you couldn't wish to being where else!

Superb location. 2nd visit to this property. Would highly recommend. Very comfortable and pleasant stay. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

My only comments are that a surface cleaner spray for the kitchen & hob would be useful. Also we struggled to get enough hot water for three showers, perhaps an electric shower would be easier?

Its all about location, thats why we stay here. Excluding the dining table and chairs, everything else was comfortable enough, the water was hot and the heating worked well. A great base.

The floor and rug in the lounge could have been cleaner, our socks were a little grubby and fluffy from walking around in the apartment from arrival. Floorboards were also quite creaky which was disturbing in the night for others when going to the loo, but otherwise a great apartment in a fab location and amazing views.

A lovely apartment, with good facilities. Comfortable beds etc. If we could make some constructive comments, the general maintenance to outside patio area was poor. Railings need painting, and a power wash of the outside area was overdue. The carpet in the living area and chairs need some attention. But overall we had a pleasant experience.

We loved our stay and will book here again. Being able to open the front windows would improve ventilation as it was a bit hot at times. But overall one of the best and nicest places we have stayed.

Very comfortable accommodation and perfect situation overlooking lake. Roof light in main bedroom not working. Teapot had no lid. No bedside lamp in spare bedroom. Shower not easy to work and retain heat. Otherwise we were happy with our stay and will return.

Absolutely lovely property, very nicely furnished, comfortable bed, good quality towels and bedding. The most amazing views from the front windows, lovely place to sit with a coffee and look at the lake. We did forget an item of our belongings, which they sent to us.

Recommend this beautiful apartment which is in a perfect location and base for the lakes. The view from the apartment is so picturesque. Will definitely return. The property would benefit from a more comfortable sofa in the lounge area, maybe a corner shape sofa, especially after all the walking and exploring in the lakes, comfort is a necessity.
