Lovely property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits was a lovely gesture. Thank you. The only slight gripe which was out of your control completely was other, absent minded guests allowing the main door and adjoining flat door to bang! Perhaps a door stop would be useful? Again, not an issue in any way with the owners or overall management of the property. We will most definitely be back.

Another great stay at this lovely property . Meets our needs perfectly. Clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of useful extras in the lounge cupboard ,eg jigsaws,pens and maps. We were pleased to have written the key code down before setting off as we knew the internet and phone signal to be poor in the area around the accommodation .This information might be useful to other guests .

There were no problems with the Waterfalls apartment. However, when the apartment upstairs is occupied it is extremely noisy. Every movement can be clearly heard through the ceiling, which carried on until the early hours whilst we were there, so we wouldn't return for that reason. Although I do appreciate that this is out of your hands. The parking space is also quite tight.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, so clean and well maintained. Directions to get there were super clear and easy to follow,we managed to get there no problems even in the dark and raining! The location is so stunning being right next to a waterfall and just close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away so very peaceful. On arrival we were greeted with a little welcome parcel with tea, coffee and biscuits and a mini cleaning supplies parcel. We had such a fantastic holiday and will 100 be back to stay at Waterfalls in the future. BRILLIANT

Wow, what can I say? ! This property was amazing, the owners have catered for everything. Fully equipped kitchen, board games, walking books, puzzles etc in the lounge. A Perfect bolthole for 2! I would love to visit in the winter as I guess it would be so cozy! My only slightly negative feedback was concerning the non slip bath mat in the bath, it's could do with a good scrub or replacing as it was left down and had gone black underneath. I gave it a quick scrub!

Excellent apartment, ideal for 2 people. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, just a short walk from the centre of Ambleside. The only slight niggle was we could hear a child upstairs doing a lot of running about but once the window was opened this was replaced by the sound of the stream below. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waterfalls and would definitely stay her again.

Impressed with kitchen apparatus and cleaning materials available, exceeded expectations. Good selection of local guides. Really happy with whole experience and will book for next year. Only one thing could be improved, an earlier access time we had 4pm checkin time. Would have been nice to have option for an earlier arrival time

The property catered for every need. We could not fault the location, the apartment layout, and the cleanliness. Superb all round! To be a bit picky, which is probably out of the owners control. The soundproofing could be a lot better. It was very noticeable when people were staying in the apartment above. They were not particularly noisy, just walking around their apartment, sometimes until 2 in the morning, which prevented us having a good night's sleep. That said, the rest over rode this, so we would stay there again.

Great stay at Waterfalls, location is ideal, a short walk from town but very quiet. The accommodation has everything that you could need, warm and clean, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing property, 100 worth the money. I thoroughly miss the sound of the waterfall, weve had such a lovely week there. Cannot recommend this property off. It has absolutely everything that you need, we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay in Waterfalls and will definitely keep it in mind when we next visit the Lakes. The place had everything we could ever need and more! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with great quality utensils and pots and pans and the whole flat was super comfortable. The only drawback we had was the noise from people staying above us on 3 or 4 of the days we were there. Other than that, perfect! Thank you very much.

We had a lovely week staying at Waterfalls. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed we particularly appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. The location near to Stock Ghyll Force is very peaceful, although its only a 5 min walk down into Ambleside. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterfalls. The location is ideal, close to the centre of Ambleside yet easy to set off from for a hike up into the hills. The appartment is very comfortable, thoughtfully kitted out with everything we could need.

This is true but misleading as it is far from a level walk to Rothay Park Nearby Rothay Park is also a lovely place for you to take a level walk by the river. I think the very steep walk to the town should be included in the description. The location was peaceful but the sound proofing is poor when people clump around upstairs. Not a major criticism, just an observation that the first floor flat has another one above it. Again, not mentioned. Everything else was as described so, with the above reservations, people can decide if this flat is for them.

Very nice location. Far enough out of town to be quiet and near enough to be convenient. Aspect from all 4 windows was a pleasing view of trees and greenery, with one of them a lovely view of the river which looks like its coming out from under the flat. Noise from the river was a concern before we arrived but loved it once there. Did not disturb sleep, rather lulled you to it. Flat very clean and well maintained. Instructions to find it could be a little better considering those getting there have probably not been before. We overshot and first time and went through a very narrow opening to find there was a better one. Flat numbers on the facing tall wall would be useful. youll see what i mean Not a big issue but, all the common stairwell lights are on a short cycle mechanical plunge timers, but the one in the dark lobby area to this flat kept going off too soon and with the backwards and forwards of luggage was a bit inconvenient while trying to navigate a plunge switch while loaded up with bags and trying to get the key in the slot. One the whole, very nice and would recommend.

A good spacious well decorated apartment for two people in a central position, well equipped with quality pots and kitchen gear and very comfortable. If we come back to Ambleside we will certainly look to book Waterfalls.

The apartment has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. We would certainly return. The only comment we have is if you have a large car the getting to, and parking in, your allocated parking spot needs considerable care. Otherwise we were very pleased and had a lovely time.

We had an amazing stay at Waterfalls! A great location in Ambleside, giving easy access to the rest of the lakes. Being able to open the window to hear the sound of the waterfall outside was magical. The view of the waterfall below equally so! Our stay was for a few nights, the place was clean, really well presented and comfortable providing everything we hoped for! The only downside was the muffled noise from the flat above, who were heavy footed in the middle of the night and early morning! Not much to be done about that, we put on some Netflix in bed to mask it. We would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our third stay at this lovely apartment. Warm and comfortable with very well equipped kitchen. Appreciated the addition of the bench seat in the porch for putting boots on. Loved the herdy jigsaw ! Great access to lovely walks from the door and also into Ambleside and all that is to offer.

Really loved my week in Waterfalls from the quiet location, looking out over the waterfall below, to the cleanliness and the quality of the fittings right through to the comprehensive information folders provided by the owners, who have obviously also loved being there. Fantastic instant hot water, close private parking, great Wifi connection and great soundproofing, as the waterfall really does rattle, and you may not want to hear it at night but I found it quite soothing to hear it through the open window very sleep inducing. Short walk into town 5 mins steepish climb coming back up but lovely walk round the back of the cottages and church. The waterfall walk is a must I shall really miss it and hope to be back. Thank you to the owners for making Waterfalls so nice.

Fantastic property, beautifully presented and convenient for access to the town

Location is fabulous although a bit steep after a day out walking, apartment spotless and owner had thought of everything from iron, hairdryer cleaning products etc nice little package with tea sugar coffee on arrival, only thing missing is some outside space and only one toilet roll for the week but we had a fabulous stay and I would definately recommend, would book again.

The property was ideal, had everything we needed and was very comfortable and of a high standard. Child running about in the flat above was somewhat annoying but did not spoil our stay and would definitely consider staying again.

I know they are self catering but most cottages are that weve stayed in and it would have been nice to have coffee tea and sugar available. Additionally 34 of a roll of toilet roll for the week was disappointing. The shower was temperamental and at the slightest touch was either freezing cold or scolding hot. We loved our stay. Those things aside great area close to everything you need, amazing views and comfy bed.

Lovely apartment. Super clean. Loved the decor and the pictures. Comfortable furniture especially the bed. Could possibly be worth mentioning that if you have a big car the parking space would be challenging. Luckily I have a very small car!!!
