First impressions count, when approaching and entering Paddock House we all noticed how dirty the windows were, hand and finger prints on the glass, they had not been cleaned at all plus the windows at the back could do with replacing, as the condition of them spoilt the spectacle veiw from both the lounge and main upstairs bedroom, such a shame. The mattress in the main bedroom does not fit the base properly causing it to slide down creating a gap. Unfortunately non of the radiators worked in that same bedroom or landing on the upstairs right hand side, luckily due to the weather we did not need them for warmth but did need them to dry the towels after showering so we used the spare bedroom radiators to dry them. We felt that there should have been towels provided for when using the hot tub, sadly there were not and no information asking you to provide your own. The bathrooms were all nice and clean, however a separate hand shower would be great as opposed to the one fixed head shower as women especially don't always want to wash and get their hair wet when showering. There was a constant drip from the shower in the main bedroom which was annoying when trying to sleep. All this aside, we had a lovely holiday, the house was great, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, fabulous hot tub with spectacle veiws that you would never get tired of, beautiful.

This was our third visit to Paddock house and it was just as amazing as the other visits. The views are breathtaking. The property is amazing and well kept, despite normal wear and tear. We had amazing weather and were lucky enough to sit outside the property every day admiring the view. Being a family of 6 adults and a dog, there is more than enough space in the property, seating and outdoor furniture. We had constant contact with the owner. They are super helpful and answer with all the queries and nothing is too much trouble. We have already booked for our next visit next year. For us the property ticks every box for our Lakes Holiday.
Paddock House is a very nice house in a great location. Unfortunately our experience was spoiled by minor things that should have been dealt with by the agents who we believe are now Sykes. We attempted to contact Lakelovers Sykes three times. The first request via WhatsApp on the 27th of July was not responded to, The second request was refused because my wife's name was not on the booking. The third request for an iron which worked and did not spit out steam all over the kitchen, was acknowledged and we were told that we would receive a replacement on Wednesday the 26th of August. Nothing was received and no explanation was given. We will be avoiding any Sykes managed properties in the future.

Lovely place to stay will return, clean, well laid out, hot tub was ... Lovely place to stay will return, clean, well laid out, hot tub was excellent, Only minor things the beams on the front outside need a bit off TLC thanks for a lovely restful stay
Beautiful property in a stunning location and great views down to Windermere. Being able to go to the neighbouring hotel for a meal was a nice bonus. We would stay in the accommodation again, however while the bedsheets were clean a couple did have stains on and there was a lot of dog hairs on the floor in the main living area I appreciate its a dog friendly place but maybe could have done with an extra sweep of the floor.

Peace & tranquility. We were lucky to have a very sunny week at the Paddock house & would 100 recommend it for the views alone. The photos do not do it justice. The house had everything we needed, kitchen very well stocked to create a home from home experience. The hot tub was like a bath, unreal! Its so quiet & surrounded by nature. Just perfect! Would recommend a walk to the low wood hotel if you wanted a nearby pint or glass of wine, its around 20 mins. We also had a spa day there. Dont hesitate, book this place if you want to melt and relax.
We had a perfect stay with no issues.

We had the most wonderful stay at Paddock house, I mean what can you say That View. . we would definitely recommend and definitely stay again. Thankyou so much for a fabulous stay.
Loved our stay at Paddock House. Very private and quiet with amazing views. The weather was beautiful, for March, so saw some gorgeous sunsets. Hopefully will be back again soon
An awesome property with everything you could need and great communication with the owner. Would recommend to anyone.
Fantastic property with a stunning view. Could not find fault with anything whatsoever. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Lovely stay at Paddock House. In a beautiful location and the views are fabulous. Paddock House had everything we needed with good quality glassware, tableware and plenty of lovely mugs. The table tennis table was erected when we arrived so we had to put it away as it was not needed and in the way spoiling the feel of the place. The property could do with a tumble dryer. We had a dry week but had it have been a wet one we would have needed a tumble dryer or a bootdrying room as nothing worse than having clothes hung over radiators. The welcome gift credit at the deli was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend Paddock House.

On Arrival found a lovely welcome pack, Well looked after, very clean, all you need to have meals there, Only thing we notice a few escape holes from the garden if you have a small dog,Lovley stay thank you so Much. Angelo and Family x
Beautiful property with the most stunning view. Paddock house had everything we needed for the week. The information on what to do in the area , the table tennis , hot tub and games were very welcome. We didn't want to leave
Lovely cottage with beautiful view. We had a very enjoyable holiday thanks to the owner of the property. Arrived to find 10 tog winter duvet on the beds, called Sykes to request summer duvets as the rooms become very hot in summer. Sykes answer was sorry there is nothing we can do for you. Fortunately I had the email address of the owner, she kindly arranged summer duvet to be delivered the next day, it was much appreciated.
This really is an excellent holiday cottage. All of the rooms and facilities were of a very high standard and very comfortable. Heating and hot water on demand, plenty of space for everyone, bathrooms and kitchen very well equipped. We enjoyed the games, books, table tennis and hot tub. The view is wonderful. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and would love to return one day.
A very good house in an outstanding and convenient location, with all rooms designed to maximise the wonderful views of Lake Windermere and the surroundings. The owner provided a generous welcome box, for which many thanks. The bedrooms and en suites are all very comfortable, of good quality, and everything functioned fully as expected. A most enjoyable stay and we would certainly consider visiting again. One addition that would enhance the property would be some improved means for drying walking gear, pet towels etc, overnight, even if just a tumble dryer. Better use could probably be made of the garage space to provide a boot room and drying facilities, knowing how wet the Lake's weather can sometime be!

The property and setting is absolutely stunning! Beautiful welcome box! Thank you! We had an amazing week! That would have been even better if we could actually had a half decent shower! I can understand water pressure can be slower, but to only have dribbles you cant even wash soap off never mind rinse your hair! Upstairs actually the water stopped altogether! Even the sink taps upstairs water stopped! Such a shame! Made it very difficult to use the hot tub! How are you able to shower before and after when this is happening!? I felt that there were areas that needed deeper cleaning, downstairs bathroom radiator yellow stains. Dust around the bedroom, chairs stained and mismatched. Beds and bed linen really good! Considering there is a hot tub, more towels would be helpful? There were blades from a Stanley knife left in upstairs bedroom. Overall it was amazing! But just really let down by the water situation! Put me off using the hot tub! Which was one of the reasons we booked it.
A fantastic property and we loved our stay. The only drawback for us was that the garden, although enclosed, was not secure which meant we were unable to let our springer off lead whilst at the property as he could easily get through the fencing even though he's not a small dog. Biggest issue we had was with Sykes we asked a simple question regarding a clothes airer and their response was We advise if you really need a particular item to use during your stay, to take your own. We wouldn't ask an owner to confirm this. It turns out there were 2 airers at the property, so we took ours for no reason at all and as it is quite a bulky item to have to pack we were not impressed. As this service falls below our expectations of good customer service, we are not looking at using Sykes again when booking our next holiday in the UK and will not recommend them to our friendsfamily. A shame, as the property itself is fantastic and well maintained.

Beautifully decorated house in a glorious setting with views you will never tire of. Spent the week feeling blissed out and totally relaxed after a hectic year. . Loved the bedrooms upstairs felt like you were in a hotel. We had some wonderful evenings in the hot tub looking at star filled skies. . Enjoyed all of our walks from some old Lake District favourites but using the owners cards and book of the area also explored some new places and had some great walks from the door too. Lots of very thoughtful touches which combined with the house, views and location make this is a very special place to stay.
