Middle Grove Cottage is a stone cottage sitting on a hilltop at Grove Farm in the Stock Valley, just 1.5 miles from Ambleside in the Lake District, Cumbria. The farm spans 160 acres and feels genuinely remote despite being minutes from town. Guests have complimentary access to a bookable indoor pool and sauna on-site. This cottage joined the collection in 2025 and is managed by Alfie.

Stock Ghyll Force waterfall is just 0.8 miles away on foot. Wansfell Pike is 1.5 miles. Ambleside has shops, eateries, a Roman fort, an art gallery and an independent cinema. From Ambleside you can board a lake cruise on Windermere stopping at Bowness.

The cottage sleeps 4 across two upstairs bedrooms a king-size and a twin, both with far-reaching views. They share a contemporary shower room with WC. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area sits beneath exposed wooden beams with a picture window framing the countryside.

Stock Ghyll Force (0.8 miles), Wansfell Pike (1.5 miles), Loughrigg Fell with views over Windermere (4.5 miles) and Ambleside town centre (1.5 miles, 5 mins) are all close by.
