The property is very spacious and extremely well equipped. A great location with generous off road parking. We were very comfortable and the central heating was appreciated. Will definitely come back to Larna Place. A downstairs toilet would have been welcome as we are starting to feel our age when tackling stairs. Overall a great place and easy access to Ambleside centre.

Larna Place is a truly lovely apartment , with everything you need and more. Clean and extremely comfortable . The decor is amazing. Could just imagine sitting outside on a warm summers evening Only positive things to say. We look forward to returning but due to the demand , looks like it will be 2027 before we do!

The property is in a good location close to Ambleside centre, has very good facilities , kitchen well equipped, TV and entertainment very good, comfy bed, great shower etc. We had an issue with Car Charging which the owners were extremely helpful and resolved. This is a very high quality property, which we would happily come to again on further visits to the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Everything we needed was there clean, fresh, and wellkept. The spacious bathroom was a real treat! From the bedroom, we enjoyed a fantastic view of the hills and the sheep. On top of that, the house is within walking distance of the town center, which is ideal since Ambleside can get quite busy and parking isnt always easy to find. The house is perfectly located in the Lake District. Everything is easy to reach by car, and before you know it, youre driving straight into the beautiful countryside. For us, the charging point for the car was a big plus so convenient to charge 3kW and head out the next day with a full battery. In short, we truly enjoyed our stay! Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. Spotlessly clean and tidy, with very comfortable large beds. And a fantastic host! We will definitely be coming back here. This is a fabulous property. Everything is finished to the highest possible standard.The views are spectacular .then theres the large patio and 2 parking areas and all just a short walk to the centre of Ambleside!

Particular thanks to owners who responded promptly to our comments from previous visit 2 years ago and who now provide option of lighter weight duvets. This was very much appreciated during the unseasonably warm weather during our stay.

Love Larna Place, have stayed more times than I can remember. Such a well equipped, comfortable place to stay. Didnt want to go home. We especially like the fact the heating isnt controlled by the owners and locked down, all other accommodation we have tried which is, is always too cold for us not even that old! Hope to be back soon.

Our 4th time at larnas place . It never let's us down .the one thing it needed is a toilet downstairs as it's a treck up stairs .but that's only our opinion. Everything you could need is provided and its to a high standard . Big beds big towells . Good for getting into the town it is only 10 minutes. its quiet apart from the pheasants at daylight and the owl in the night but that's because we opened the window. I'm a light sleeper. There are dear in the garden. I'd better not praise it to much or it will be to busy for us to go again.

Larna Place provided us with a fantastic place to stay in The Lake District! The property is amazing and has great views from the bedroom and living room. Location is very handy with only a short stroll to Ambleside. Our only recommendation is possibly a choice of firmer pillows would have improved our sleep even more!

This is the best property ever, there is everything you would ever want. The house is so well presented. The beds are comfy. Only a short walk into town if youre wanting a meal. Bus stop to wherever you want to go is just down the road. The only time the car was driven was to go to Wray Castle House and to fill up before heading home Its the second year running my husband and I have stayed here. Well done owners, well done Sykes

Our 6th time at this property so clearly one of our favourites. Nice and clean and well equipped. Cleaning highlighted as this is not always true in other properties we have stayed in so a big thank you to the cleaners. We were lucky to catch some hot sunny days and make use of the lovely patio on Deerwatch. Only missing from previous stays was the Prosecco and kitchen roll but everything else more than makes up for this and is much appreciated.

Larna Place is outstanding. Very, very high quality, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It's also in an ideal location. We thoroughly recommend it and hope to return. I do want to say that I was not that impressed by Lakelovers. I have used them in the past and they were excellent but not this time. Twice I would have liked to speak to a person but couldn't. Also the recorded message said they were not open on a Saturday anymore, which is not ideal for a holiday letting company. I have had better experiences with other companies.

The property is just perfect everything we needed . .lovely bedding towells etc heating was just right .felt the lighting over dinning table could be improved on as it was a bit dim in that corner in comparison to the rest of the room . Parking is a bonus .and just a nice distance to the town .we have been twice now .and wouldef recomend this is a superior property def fits the discription

It was our first time back to the Lake District and Ambleside in 28yrs and wow what a find Larna Place was, it was beautiful, high class, so comfy it was the best holiday let Ive ever stayed in. Such a wonderful place to stay with everything we needed catered for, to a high standard. The hosts have put a lot of thought into place, and it showed! Place was spotless on arrival, super comfy bed, great shower and downstairs was perfect for relaxing after our walks. Also outside patio was wonderful to sit out on in the early evening. We definitely recommend staying here as also ideal location for walking into town or going off for walks, and view from bedroom was wonderful and we were lucky enough to hear the lambs each morning. Definitely the best place we have ever stayed, and we will be going back! Thank you.

Needs stating in the listing that there are only 2 toilet rolls and very tiny bathroom shower gel, tiny shampoo, soap. The first luxury accommodation I have stayed in where there is not adequate bathroom amenities for 4 people for one week.

I have previously provided feedback on the drier not working. This was reported at the start of our weeks stay, but was never resolved. This reflects badly on Lakelovers, there was a total lack of communication on what was being done about the fault. Apart from this, the property is beautiful and we had a great stay. The hall is very cold though.

I actually thought the photos on the listing didn't do the property justice! We had a great time staying at Larna Place, and will be back to stay again for sure. It felt extremely clean, and the recent renovations have been done to an excellent standard. I had a bedding request made to the Lake Lovers team when we arrived and this was dealt with within a hour or two which was very much appreciated and great service. As we had a young baby we found ourselves staying in more for meals and cooking than we would have done prebaby, and were pleased to report the facilities on offer made this an enjoyable experience. Again, the property really was lovely and in a superb location, great amenities, and lots of space.

We love Ambleside and Larna Place is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Everything you need, warm and very luxurious. Perfectly situated for the shops, restaurants and many walks around the area.

A real home from home in a wonderful position just a short walk from the centre of the village but with wonderful countryside views. Property was very well maintained and the welcome bottle of fizz was a nice touch by the owners. Bonus to have 2 parking spaces and electric car charging also available. A great position to start some good walks without the need of using the car. Also nice and central to get to Windermere, Bowness and Keswick all in easy reach.

We loved staying at Larna Place. It was more than we expected. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would come back again. Just for the owner due to the heavy rain over a couple of days, the spouting above the front door was full of leaves, therefore, a lot of water pouring over the front door.

Larna Place is beautiful. High end property with stunning decor and furnishings. Great Location with gorgeous views. We loved our stay and cant wait to return.
