This is our third time at four seasons cottage and we are never disapointed . .

Stayed here a few times now, and will be booking for next year.

The cottage is well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook meals etc. The beds are comfortable and the linen is spotless. The towels are a generous size and good condition. The private parking space is worth a lot as parking is very limited and expensive in the town. The shower is difficult to access for older guests as climbing over the bath is unnerving to say the least. May I suggest a nonslip bath mat would avoid the worry of slipping on a soapy bath base.

We really enjoyed staying at the cottage it was pure second time and would recommend four seasons cottage to everyone.

A fabulous week's stay for my husband and I. .. the cottage was a perfect size and well equipped with all we needed for our stay. We only breakfasted there and ate out during the evenings, for with there was plenty of information left by the owners for us to be able to book a table at our choice of restaurant. The beds were comfy and plenty of space in the wardrobes and cupboards. The reason we booked this cottage was for it's town centre location with off road parking and we were extremely pleased with our booking.

This is our second visit to the four seasons. On entering the cottage your first impression is how clean and fresh it is. It is beautifully furnished, sofa and bed are really comfy. It is ideally situated with walks from the door and the bonus of a parking space. We were lucky with the weather and our car never moved for the whole week. There are some great places to eat and the bus service is really good. Would highly recommend this property we've really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Ideally situated, parking and exceptionally clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely book again if staying in Ambleside.

This is our 2nd stay in this beautiful cottage. It is clean, cosy and comfortable, gives you a lovely hug each day when you return from any of the great walks around this area. Parking right outside the door is an added bonus. There are lots of lovely places to eat and drink, all just a 5 minute stroll down the road.

Our second stay at four seasons and we will definitely be back. The only thing that would have helped us is a hand rail to get in and out of bath. Everything else was perfect thankyou.

Another fabulous stay in our favourite cottage in Ambleside, spotlessly clean as usual. We did eat in a few evenings this time unfortunately finding the restaurants in Ambleside too expensive now, everything we needed in the cottage to cook though.Agree the white lines for parking do need repainting but people do have bigger cars nowadays so even then it will remain tricky to get in and out especially when youre getting older and your body doesnt twist as it did

The four seasons cottage is perfect in every way. Very comfortable, superb shower, easy parking, quiet location only a short walk into Ambleside. We will definitely be booking again. Many thanks to the owners for your gesture this was very much appreciated at this difficult time for us.

Great cottage for the 2 of us. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and powerful shower. Fab location, short walk to centre. Would stay again.

What a great little cottage, perfect location with parking which is ideal. The parking spaces arent massive and we had a very large car in the space next to us so it was a squeeze. Nothing the owners can do about it, but just something to be aware of if you have a large car as it could be a bit tight. Cottage had everything we needed, very clean which is not always the case with holiday cottages! But this cottage was immaculately clean. I messaged the owner via the Sykes app before arrival to check if the cottage had a hairdryer which is does, and they got back to me very quickly which was really appreciated. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely like to stay again and would recommend too.

Excellent location & having dedicated parking is a real bonus. Good facilities & great shower which is a rarity!. Bedroom rather small but could use the single as overflowdressing room as only 2 of us.

Lovely cottage and great location. Very difficult to dry clothes in a wet week in August. Beds really comfy and cot set up before arrival but chairs and sofas were not ideal for sitting.

The cottage was fantastic. Beautifully clean, comfortable beds with proper pillow and mattress protectors and all the necessary kitchen equipment to enjoy a week away from home. We appreciated the modern decor and comfort provided.

This property was immaculate throughout . All you need for a great relaxing holiday is provided.Location is perfect and the car park immediately outside the cottage is a big big plus ! This was our fourth stay in Four Seasons Cottage and we were absolutely delighted with everything once again.

Very clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage, in an excellent position. Near to all the shops and bars that Ambleside has to offer, still very quiet, with added bonus of onsite parking. Already booked a return visit next year.

We had a lovely week at Four Seasons Cottage, it's a great base for exploring the area. The house is really well kept and clean and has everything that you need for your stay in terms of kitchen equipment and utensils. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. It was great having a parking space outside the property, although we did have an inconsiderate neighbour with an excessively big car that used to make getting in to the space difficult, but that's no reflection on the size of the parking spaces that would be perfectly big enough in normal circumstances! There's plenty to do around the area, both close to home and if you want to travel further afield, and we did both. We'll definitely book to stay here again when we come back to Ambleside.

We stayed in another cottage few doors away from you last year, I can honestly say yours was far better for cleanliness, comfort, and very well equipped. Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your wonderfully cottage, we will be back.

Excellent location, everything needed for stay included. Very cosy. Already booked again for 3rd stay. Just a note to say you may want to stop the ivy climbing up by the front door. Will look a mess ifwhen decide to take down. Could damage the slates.

Lovely cottage, very clean, comfortable & cosy. We travelled up by train, so it was really convenient for walking out from the door and catching the bus.

We liked the clean and modern condition of the property this was our second stay. Noticed the fire in the living room area is still not working and the chair there is not comfortable.

Another fabulous stay in our favourite cottage arrived during a heavy snow storm cottage was so warm and cosy Christmas decorations were lovely.

A lovely cottage. We have been several times to Four Seasons , and have already booked to go there in 2024. An added bonus is the reserved parking space by the vottage

Excellent cottage in a great location with an added bonus of a parking space right outside. Nice and peaceful with easy access to everything we wanted for our holiday. Really enjoyed our time and would recommend the property to anyone . Just a couple of suggestions that we thin would make things a little better for guests 1 Have some hand soap in kitchen as when preparing food etc this would be useful. 2 Only 1 toilet roll available did not find any replacements not sure if this was stated on the booking etc but we brought some just in case. Overall a very nice cottage which fully met our expectations thank you very much Paul and Jamie Samuel

This cottage was ideally situated, 5 minutes walk to shops and buses, 10 minutes walk to Lake, with the bonus of parking on site. Well furnished, very clean and easy to keep cool in summer heat. Excellent refurbished bathroom, comfortable beds and adequately fitted kitchen. Would definitely look at booking again.

This was our third stay in this cottage and we enjoyed our stay even more than before. The cottage was spotlessly clean as always.Equipment was plentiful and the beds so comforatble and cosy. Car parking in the courtyard is a massive plus.The cottage is a credit to the owners and the cleaners.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Excellent value for money at the time we booked. We did some beautiful walks and would definitely return to the cottage as a base to do more in the area.

Lovely property, very clean and well equipped, good location, and very comfortable. Only a minor thing, a chopping board would have been nice in addition to the glass heatproof worktop board. We would book again as the property is lovely but, the only thing that would potentially put us off is the fact that there is no washing machine. We did know this when we booked and there is a launderette nearby, but who wants to spend their precious holiday time in a launderette?

Very high standard of accommodation with a cosy feel. Shame fire in sitting area was not working. Bath could benefit from a grab handle on wall side.

Second time here for New Year's Eve. Impressed by cleanliness and facilities the first time and glad to see the high standards maintained with exception of mattress covers which were stained. Close to everything you need in Ambleside and as a poor sleeper the extra cozy little bedroom is really handy.

Everything we needed for our stay over Christmas. Very clean cottage and excellent bathroom and shower. Good to have private parking space. Would stay again. Thank you
