Fell View Reviews

Susan
Excellent cottage in a great position. The cottage was very clean and comfortable throughout with excellent ensuite walk in shower rooms off two of the bedrooms
Sara
We spent a lovely week here. The setting in Elterwater has everything you could want - wonderful walks right from the doorstep, pubs and café in walking distance. The house benefits from parking (for 2 cars!), comfy beds, great showers and a little garden (well-enclosed for dogs) and parts have received TLC recently - paintwork looked fresh. Other parts could do with updating however and look a bit tired, the kitchen in particular.
Janet
A very comfortable cottage with plenty of space for a party of six adults. Comfortable seating and beds and a very well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent with plenty of walks and eating places on the doorstep. Looking forward to returning soon.
Simon
The cottage was great. Facilities excellent , thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fell view. Would book again but not available for our vacation times next year
Gemma
Loved this holiday home, really spacious, excellent position, well equipped, and a lovely garden!
Helen
Brilliant cottage and amazing location. 4 pubs, 1 restaurant, 1 shop within 15 min walk, and lots of lovely walks in the area for all abilities. Hourly bus to Ambleside which was a bonus. The cottage was clean and really well equipped with everything we needed, a short stumble from the Britannia pub. Comfortable beds, excellent showers and a really cute garden. Can't recommend highly enough.
Chris
Great location, comfy and clean accommodation. Second time staying at Fell View and will return again.
Teresa
Fabulous location with parking for 2 cars, which is ideal. Even a small enclosed garden which was good for the dog. Very comfortable house with everything you need for a weeks break. We will be back.
Tracey
Fell View is a beautiful house in the centre of a great village. It's a comfortable place to stay and is an excellent base for many walks in the Langdale Valley.
Sue
Great facilities , everything you need home from home . Location was perfect , near pub and good walks over to Grasmere, Skelwith bridge . Enclosed garden for dogs was great . The wet rooms in the double rooms were nicely done. We had fab weather . Would definitely book again .
Gillian
Lovely well-equipped and comfortable cottage in the picturesque village of Elterwater. We will book again.
Sue
Lovely cottage, comfortable lounge (with Netflix)/sofas/beds, enclosed garden and excellent location. Nb Cottageâ??s accessibility and layout are challenging for disabled guests and/or those with young children. Check out requirements carefully before booking.
Dawn
An amazing location. We didnâ??t need to use the car except for going out to buy things not provided such as dishwater tablets (3 provided), hand soap for bathrooms (none), bin liners (one only provided). Also take your own knives if you intend to cook as they are totally blunt. The cottage is well laid out. Itâ??s on the rustic side but we enjoyed our stay. The location is fabulous for hikers and pubs and cafes happily welcomed dogs!
Norine
A beautiful location & well equipped cottage, plenty of room for 6 adults & 2 dogs.
Jo
Wonderful traditional cottage, well equipped in an absolutely fantastic location. We will certainly be going back.
Mark
Great location but could do with some TLC.
Peter
Superb location in Elterwater and very dog friendly.
Simon
A lovely location for a quirky cottage. The beds, sofas and showers were superb and they are my key comfort items. It was an ideal base for our holiday and we will be back.
Clare
Excellent property in a beautiful location. We absolutely love it here.
Philip
Location is fantastic! The cottage is well laid out and feels spacious. Our only gripe would be dated kitchen applicances and essentials such as a dust pan and brush lacking. It is a 5 star price but not 5 star accomodation, however you are paying for the location more than anything else.
Christine
Beautiful well equipped cottage in perfect location
Anthony
Really homely and warm on 3 of the coldest days of the year
Jackie
The cottage is in a superb location for fantastic walks from the door and is of good proportions for six people. Just the standard of cleaning needs to be addressed.
Stephen
Fellview is a lovely place to stay plenty of space to relax in with lots of quirks which made it a special place (window seat, comfortable beds) and in a great location.
