You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to walking opportunities; hike to the top of Loughrigg Fell (3 miles) for fabulous views over Grasmere or wander down to Windermere’s Waterhead Pier (less than 1 mile) for a waterside stroll or a ride on one of the iconic steamers. Lake Windermere is a truly magical place, surrounded by mountain peaks and pretty Lakeland villages – a photographer’s dream. Hop on and off the steamers to ride on the vintage steam railway, visit the aquarium or explore the World of Beatrix Potter. The first-floor apartment has a spacious lounge, decorated in neutral tones to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The room is flooded with natural light, thanks to the large window framing a spectacular view of the nearby fells. The reclining sofa and armchairs are the ideal spot to relax with a hot drink in front of the Smart TV after a long walk.
