Ideally located for access to local services in Ambleside and easy access to various walkstrails from the property. Very comfortable and clean throughout. Second visit and most likely not our last

We had a lovely stay. The Afton View was just as described. It was very well equipped, had beautiful views and was really spacious and comfortable. The parking was great and we were able to walk into town easily. We will definitely book Afton View again.

The property was very spacious, well equipped and clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and the Health Club access a great bonus. The property is well located for parking up the car and walking into Ambleside or nearby attractions. Bus links to other Lake District Towns and Villages is also excellent. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday at Afton View and will definitely consider returning in the future.

This was a real gem. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The views from the lounge were amazing, a big picture window facing the Fairfield horseshoe. There was also a balcony with similar views. The lounge had two big leather reclining sofas, great to sink into after a days walking. Downstairs there was a really handy lobby and covered porch for drying boots and coats also a washerdryer if we had needed it The kitchen had everything we needed and when we arrived there was a welcome pack including biscuits and prosecco plus a pint of milk in the fridge to get us started. Outside we had a designated parking space close to the entrance although we were close enough to walk into Ambleside so didn't need to use the car much. Can't recommend this place highly enough, we will definitely go back at some point.
