This was our 5th or 6th stay in Loughrigg view. The apartment is very comfortable and in an excellent position in Ambleside. The on site parking is great for one vehicle. The immediate area is nice and quiet and access to wi fi and television very good. James Robertson
We enjoyed our third stay in Loughrigg View. A warm and cosy well equipped flat in a perfect location. The parking space is a big asset and we fully intend to return.
This was our 4th or 5th stay at Loughrigg View and we have always found the location , parking and comfort very suitable. The position in Ambleside is easy access, quiet and high state of cleanliness. Collection of keys and drop off at end of stay very good. J Robertson
A lovely apartment in an excellent location. The apartment has everything you need, including private parking. Although it situated in the heart of Ambleside, it is tucked away, and peaceful, with beautiful views over Loughrigg Fell. We return to the apartment annually, as it has everything we need, we really like it, and it is has become very much home from home for us.
Excellent apartment within a few minutes walk of the town centre. Private off road parking is a bonus given the location. The apartment is well furnished, comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of nearby walking without the need to use a car, Loughrigg is great on a clear day. Lots of options for eating and drinking in the town. The only slight criticism is that the double bedroom is a bit cramped with the bed taking up most of the space.
This was our first visit to this great property, central to everything in Ambleside and a good base for walking. Parking space was very convenient. We will definitely return.

A Comfortable stay, lovely view from the front window. A warm and homely apartment with a short walk into centre. No need to use the car we took the bus on a few occasions.
Perfect location, parking, comfortable beds and sofas, warm and well equipped. A lovely stay thank you. 2 points, dishwasher handle needs attention, building entrance is very tricky at night as no light.

As described, very nice & clean. Well equipped & an excellent position. Parking space a big bonus. Bed very comfy but double bed does creak a lot at the slightest movement. Overall excellent stay.
WE ALWAYS STAY IN THIS EXCELLENT HOLIDAY LETTING IS REALLY CONVENIENT, CLEAN AND IT HAS ALL WE NEED. LOCATION QUIIET AND PEACEFUL, EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN THE CENTRE OF AMBLESIDE.
Lovely clean apartment. In a perfectly central location. Would definitely stay again. Took us a few minutes to realise we had to turn on the water. Couldn't get Sky TV to work but we didn't ask Heart of the Lakes for assistance so that's our own fault really. The only negative I'd say is that the beds could do with being replaced. Very old, creaky wooden beds. Very noisy when you literally just turn over. The views are outstanding, we sat at the dining table some evenings watching the bats.
The property was very nice and well furnished. It is situated in a great spot being so close to the town centre and the views of the fells were great. Having your own offroad car parking space was very convenient too.

We have stayed here several times because it's an excellent holiday apartment. Stunning views of the hills, well equipped kitchen, beautifully furnished, very comfy beds. It's quiet and peaceful, shops and cafes are just round the corner and there are great walks from here.

Lovely accommodation. Everything you could need. Great peaceful location just 2 minutes from centre of Ambleside. Would highly recommend & will stay here again.
The flat is ideally placed in the centre of Ambleside yet it is very private and quiet. We discovered and explored more of Ambleside than just the main centre of bars and shops. I would definitely recommend staying here. We took our own dvds for movie nights to watch with our grandson who is 5 however the choice already there was good. They also had a good selection of reading books. The kitchen was well equipped from cutlery to pots and pans. The view from the main room was stunning of Loughrigg Fell. The park and playing fields was a minutes walk from the property and catered for toddlers up to 10yrs. The park was clean and had lots of picnic areas even though it was busy it didnt feel busy. We are definitely going to return soon.
