Mark
Lovely cottage in a great location for the local beach and using as base to travel to other North Devon locations. Would highly recommend.
Rachel
The house is beautiful and well equiped and has fabulous views. I believe that the property is best suited for adults or families with older children because there is alot of glass , both the coffee table and dining table have large glass plate tops over timber , these plates are not fixed and do not have rounded corners , we had a yound child with us and it worried me sick every time she touched the tables. The house is spacious enough for a large family of seven and in great spot to go to the beach , visit the pub or restaurants and shops Coombemartin has to offer . The steep slope mentioned is the sharp steep drive up to the property , it is very steep indeed.

Lovely house. Location is amazingly close to the beach and shops. We have a wonderful week!
Sarah
The location was good for Combe Martin, just about 5 minutes walk to the sea, though the steep road was extremely steep. Combe Martin Beach is ok but we travelled to the much nicer beaches at Saunton & Woolacombe. The outside seating area was a let down, it was not at all inviting. The house was comfortable & the beds were comfortable. Overall an enjoyable holiday.

Had a lovely stay here. Spacious and attractive decoration. Beautiful scenery through windows, Lovely looking property with everything you need for a family home. Had a great stay. Thank you.
Amanda
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highview. We found Coombe Martin to be a great little seaside town with some good little seaside shops and a newly opened cafe which was delightful, they also catered for Gluten free customers like myselfâ?¦The house was fully equipped and in excellent order. We found it to be very comfortable. A home from home. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. In fact I already have.
Susan
A super house with lots of thoughtful touches eg welcoming refreshing treats for both guest and dogs and a telescope. There was a useful selection of maps and information on the local area, along with books and dvds when relaxing. It is up quite a steep lane, however, which our 5 year old managed to walk up but which might be too much for some people.
Andrew
A lovely home from home with everything thought of. Very comfortable, the beds were fantastic. We all had a perfect nights sleep each night. We really couldnâ??t have asked for a better home to stay in. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of comfy seating. We felt extremely comfortable in this home.
Sarah
A beautiful property with everything you need for a really comfortable stay! Sea views (from multiple windows) and lots of space for the family. We had a small issue which was resolved by the lovely owners. 1 min drive or less than 10 min walk to the beach. (Thereâ??s a steep road to the property but our kids managed to walk there and back.) We really enjoyed staying here and would look to stay here again. Thank you very much.
Trudy
Wow what a property! Elegant and so beautifully decorated. Felt so luxurious staying here. Particularly loved the rainfall showers with oodles of almost instant hot water. Such a small walk into Combe Martin. We will definitely return.
Esther
This house is beautiful, very nicely decorated and well equipped. You will need to take your own bin bags, tea towels, dishwasher tablets and I would recommend taking some basic cleaning products. The drive up to the house is very steep and would not recommend this house to anyone with mobility issues. But apart from that, this house is lovely and has a nice sea view from the front.
Nicola
A beautiful place, that was well equipped with everything we could have needed. Although the steep hill will really test your hill starts - it was a great location and exactly what we were looking for to spend a week with family near our favourite little beach.
David
A beautiful and clean house to stay at with a short walk the the beach ,( 5 - 10 minites to the main beach ) , yes it is a steep road up to the property but it didn't bother us at all. The house was very clean , comfortable, the beds were amazingly comfortable. Well kitted out with everything you need , parking for two cars with use of the garage for storage of our roof box . I will certainly miss sitting at the bay window at breakfast time looking at the sea. The welcome pack was well used and a lovely touch . Its very well decorated with locally themed pictures and ornaments and I especially liked the original Jaws poster in the bathroom. Great place
Alec
House was very clean and tidy with plenty of decor, plenty of room for all as there was seven of us, nice views of the bay,not short of anything with tv nearly in every room, would definitely go again.
Sue
We loved the house and Combe Martin, and had a lovely holiday there. The view from the front bedroom was lovely, over a steep hill of fields and a sideways view of the sea. Close enough to walk down to the sea.
