The views are genuinely outstanding the bay window lounge looks out over Ambleside towards the fells and mountain range beyond. Direct access to the lower slopes of Wansfell starts right at the back door.
Ambleside is one of the Lake District's best-placed towns. You can walk to pubs, restaurants, a bakery, butcher, boutique shops and an independent cinema. Stock Ghyll Force waterfall is less than a mile away. The area is ideal for mountain biking, wild swimming, climbing and ridge scrambling.
